Kia ora! I’m Ruth Jennings. If we haven’t met yet, I’ve been a proud Darfield local for thirteen years, and for the last three, I’ve been busy building Spotta Design right here in Darfield.

What began as a drive to provide professional, creative solutions for our local community has grown and matured into Darfield’s Digital Design Agency. My journey is built on years of being the 'go-to' for some of our schools and local businesses—ensuring their projects are polished, professional, and delivered to a high design standard. Whether you remember me from my time as the Publications Administrator at Darfield High School or through my work at Graphic Creative Solutions, I’ve always been passionate about helping our corner of the world look its best.

What's in a name?

The inspiration for the name Spotta Design comes from the game my family has played for years! The "Spotta" car game is a classic for long trips—the goal is to be the first to "spot" yellow vehicles. The rule is simple: you have to be quick, you have to be accurate, and you have to shout "Spotta!" to get a point.

In a world full of "traffic," your business needs to be that bright yellow car.

I chose this name because that is exactly what I do for my clients. Whether it's a logo that catches the eye, a website that's easy to find, or a piece of signage that stands out, I make sure your business is the one people "spot" first. My job is to ensure you aren't just another car on the road, but the one everyone notices.

(And yes, I have a soft spot for classic yellow VW Vans—I owned one many years ago, so they are guaranteed an extra point!)
